S: Huh? What are you.... *Realizes what the smell is. Flinches, and seems a bit more somber.* Oh...
R: U-U-Uuuuugh, i-i-is that a colony? I-It's...I'm gonna be sick...
S: Sh... Its not a colony... I know what this is... Follow me, and be slow...
R: H-huh? O-Okay... B-but- uuuuuuaaagh, the smell-
S: Yes yes, I am aware, but this will be important for you. Just... Power through it, for me.
*They slowly approach closer to the source, finding a single human dazed on the ground, staring off at the wall.*
R: I-I-Is-*wretching noises* T-That a human...?
S: ...Yes... An abandoned one...Tell me Rose, what is one thing you know about humans?
R: U-uh...Hrk... W-Well... Uh-
S: *Slightly impatient, but still a bit somber.* Specifically, what it means if you find one.
R: O-O-Oh, uh... T-That there will be m-more n-nearby...?

R: *Tilts her head curiously.* W-Why is that...?
S: ...In my studies of humans, one thing I noticed is that humans are a very closely driven to be among others, in a way far beyond just strength in numbers or survivability... Humans are a social species, to the extent that their mental health requires them to be with others... If they are isolated, however... It does things to their minds... they aren't made to be lone wolves, they HAVE to be with others... Otherwise...
*She slowly moves around the human to inspect her, making sure she can see her breathing.*
S: ...Thankfully, she's still breathing, and her garments are still on her... But it seems like she hasn't gotten nutrition in some time... and it seems like she's losing grasp of the world around her... *She very slowly and carefully reaches towards the human, who begins to take notice.*
*The human slowly begins to reach out to Sophondra's claw weakly.*
S: ...We are fortunate this one is much more cooperative... Humans that have been abandoned are incredibly difficult to gauge... It seems like when a human is isolated for too long, they start acting unpredictably... Best case scenario is this, where they'll willingly allow to be picked up and moved... Sometimes, they become so twitchy that they become surprisingly difficult to capture... Or sometimes they become so volitile that they'll attack anything that approaches them... even other humans... Worse case scenario though... is if they remove their garments... And quickly die as a result...
R: ...W-Wow... I-I didn't- Hrg... K-Know that... I-I-I didn't think humans could be so... complicated...
S: *She slowly and carefully lifts the human up and places her in a special spot on her pack gently.* ...Rose, I do hope you remember what you experienced today... I feel like it'd be an important lesson for you about humans...
R: R-Right... E-Eugh, I feel like I'm still going to need a long shower.
S: *Her somber mood seems to quickly change to a more usual mood.* Oh yes, absolutely! Cleaning the scent off will take some work, but I have a method to remove the scent relatively quickly.
R: O-Oh g-good! *She takes a glance at Sophondra's pack.* S-So... what do we do with her?
S: All we have to do is to put her among the others, and they'll take care of the rest. They'll make sure she'll be cleaned and recovered from this. It will take time for her to bounce back, but I'm sure she'll make a fine recovery.
